If you move side to side a bit while it's in such a state, it'll also be as if the scrake has slight control of your movement, since you'll kind of turn with it almost as if it "grabbed" you.Īs for other ways to trigger the insane stomp spam, knock (almost) any zed high enough into the air and just let it land on you while it does the standing-up animation in mid-air (it won't bounce off until the animation finishes). Worth noting that this method of the glitch seems to happen exclusively with scrakes, and only while they're enraged.Īlso, very rarely with that glitch, sometimes the scrake will do no stomp damage, in which case it'll harmlessly get stuck on top of your head in the falling animation as long as you stay under it (or until it gets pushed off by something). In your case you probably didn't need to crouch if the scrake was standing on top of a bush at around head level when it happened. For example, I learned why it happens with scrakes just crouch downhill from an enraged scrake, and all of its lunging attacks will stand him on your head without bouncing (thus doing extreme amounts of stomp damage), at least until the attack animation finishes (but you'll probably be dead before any of the animations are even 1/4 done XD). I've known about it for a while but never tried to figure out how to purposely do it (until now) since it's fairly rare, but basically if a zed can rapidly spam-land on your head for some reason, you'll lose all your health extremely quickly. It's happened to me a handful of times before.
